I was inspired by the opportunity to launch consumer brands dedicated to environmental sustainability and public health.
I'm an active sportsman, adventure seeker and father of four millennials who remain my greatest accomplishment.
Bloc Enterprises is a specialized wholesale distribution, marketing and e-commerce company introducing consumer products distinguished by innovation, technology and disruptive solutions to everyday problems. The company strives to practice sustainability principles in all operations and be a good steward of the earth.
The technology inside GOpure Pod was invented in Ireland and for me it was love at first sight considering the growing problems with tap water in the U.S. and collateral damage from single use plastic water bottles. We seized the opportunity to commercialize the technology, brand the product and introduce to the world here in the U.S.
We designed GOpure Pod packaging to be fully sustainable, including paper certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative, glass, cork and recyclable casing. Our drop shipping containers are packed with recyclable paper and never with plastic bubble wrap, pillow pouches or foam peanuts. We strive to source products locally and in the U.S. to minimize our carbon footprint.
Our next generation products are currently in development, along with our national marketing plan to build awareness for our mission. We always look to collaborate with like-minded business partners.
Take a conscious first step to change your daily habit and commit to it. This could be refusing plastic bags at the store (paper bags instead), or eliminating straws, plastic lids and/or styrofoam cups. Inevitably this will reinforce positive behavior modification and awareness, which can grow exponentially and influence others.
Our initial goal was to help ensure everyone with access to purified drinking water wherever they go by using the GOpure Pod inside a re-usable water bottle. We quickly realized by helping provide a solution to clean water supplies, we were also helping eliminate up to 2,000 plastic water bottles from polluting our environment with each Pod.
Protecting our natural resources is vital to our on long term health and the health of our planet. By disregarding this with "out of sight out of mind" rationale, you may be contributing to the problem in a more profound way than you realize. Instead, each citizen can make a concerted effort to live a more sustainable way and influence others to do the same. Lead by example and pay it forward!
We first collaborated at a new music festival event in Charleston where we sponsored the hydration station and featured Healthy Human bottles as the exclusive choice to use with GOpure Pods.
The two I use daily are my classic tumbler in the morning for coffee and classic 21oz stein for drinking water all day long.
